The meeting, attended by dignitaries including Ali Fekri, Deputy Minister and Head of the Organization for Economic Investment and Technical Assistance of Iran, engineer Hussein Abdul Amir Bakah, Deputy Technical Director of the Iraqi Ministry of Water Resources, and Sattar Jabbar Al-Jaberi, Deputy Minister of Commerce in Iraq, along with a delegation from both nations, commenced at the Ministry of Economy building.
Expressing gratitude for Iran's hospitality, Al-Jaberi highlighted Iran's government's commitment to fostering investments, enhancing foreign relations, promoting economic interactions, and facilitating joint ventures.
During the meeting, Al-Jaberi outlined the agenda of the joint economic commission, which includes discussions on commercial cooperation, standards, customs, finance, industry, agriculture, energy, transportation, technology, construction, urban services, consular affairs, cultural exchanges, tourism, healthcare, sports, and youth development.
The sixth meeting of the Iran-Iraq Economic Cooperation Commission is scheduled to continue until May 6 in Tehran.
